Phases
Discovery
K. Ellis Interiors loves to get to know clients on an individual basis. We start with a phone interview to discuss your needs and determine if K. Ellis Interiors is a good fit for you. Next, we move to a one-to-two hour in-home, Zoom or on-site consultation. During that meeting, we will explore your renovation vision and budget. Then together we will decide the best course of action.
Vision Mapping
K. Ellis Interiors will provide you with an outline of the scope of services required per room and the estimated number of billable hours necessary to accomplish your renovation.
Implementation
When you are ready to get started, here is what implementation looks like:
- If needed, we find a qualified contractor that is right for you. (Any contractor fees are additional to K. Ellis Interior design fees.)
- From the items listed in your vision map, we prioritize, make a plan, and get started.
- K. Ellis Interiors schedules appointments and accompany you to make all the necessary selections for your project.
- As needed, drafted elevations are provided for your approval. These elevations will be shared with your contractor and installer for their reference.
- In the case that the renovation does not require a contractor, K. Ellis Interiors will schedule the necessary licensed trades people to complete any needed work.
- K. Ellis Interiors makes on-site visits, as needed, to oversee the renovation, answer questions, and provide guidance to keep the job moving forward.
Wrap Up
Once your renovation is complete, we walk the job with you to make sure everything is completed to your satisfaction. Any remaining items that need to be completed will be scheduled.
